Support during the studies

Whether studying in Hachenburg or doing practical studies in different areas of the Bundesbank and BaFin, our students get full support all the time.

Compared to a lot of other colleges, the teachers are often on site and give close support. The teams in the study area and the examination office are also there to help students with any questions or concerns. Study materials are available online, and there are grants for books.

During the 12 months of practical studies, the university's practical studies coordination unit and, in particular, the central tutor's team look after the students. While the students are on placements in the divisions and units, the practical studies tutors and training staff are responsible for looking after them, providing an introduction and guidance. The staff of the Human Resources Department are always happy to answer any questions regarding public service law or personnel management.

Two months before the start of their studies, i.e. in February or August, prospective students who have already received a letter of acceptance are invited to attend “orientation days.” Here, they receive detailed information about the framework and study conditions. Students also have the opportunity to get to know each other and their future contacts at the Bundesbank and BaFin.
