Lectures

The campus has nine lecture halls, three IT training rooms, and five additional seminar rooms, each equipped with modern media technology, which are available for events, group work, or discussion groups. Outside of event times, these rooms can also be used by students for studying. A large lecture hall regularly hosts events with renowned speakers from the worlds of business and politics.

The majority of courses are completed in study groups of no more than 40 students. In IT courses in particular, the group size is often only 10 to 15 students. This ensures a personal working atmosphere and direct contact with lecturers and other students. Study groups can be found quickly. Lecture schedules are published digitally on the university's own learning platform, ILIAS, and on digital display boards at the university. Attendance at lectures is compulsory. In addition to the weekly lecture schedule, all teaching materials are also available in digital form on ILIAS. Lecture notes, exercises, information, and forms are therefore available online anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

By providing documents exclusively in digital form, the university is contributing to environmental protection. At the same time, it is supporting the Bundesbank's initiative to gradually convert its employees' working environment to a virtually paperless one. Wi-Fi is available in all lecture halls, accommodation rooms, and public areas such as the cafeteria. Students are provided with work laptops at the beginning of their studies.
